Peel ply is a plain-woven nylon fabric with a red polyester tracer. It establishes a well-bondable surface on fabricated parts. After use, it is removed to reveal a clean and improved surface for bonding the next layer.
This plain weave nylon fabric with a red trace line undergoes a thorough scoured and heat-set process, resulting in a clean surface and strong fabric, providing excellent release properties. The fabric can also be coated and is primarily utilized in vacuum forming processes involving carbon fiber, glass fiber, and molding epoxy resin.
